Assign a kanban stage from a chat

You can move a chat into a kanban stage without leaving the conversation. The stage you pick is the same one used by the kanban board.

Before you start

Open the chat

Navigate to the conversation.

Open the profile panel

It sits to the right of the chat window on desktop.

Find the stage picker

Look for the stage / status field.

Pick a stage

Select from your configured columns.

Save

The card now appears in that stage on the kanban board.

Assigning a stage from chat is faster than going to the kanban board to drag the card.
Use it as a tiny ritual - move stage every time you reply, so the board stays current without separate effort.
