React to a customer or agent message with an emoji. Reactions sync to WhatsApp in real time so the contact sees them immediately.

Steps

Open a chat

Navigate to the conversation.

Hover over the message

The reaction button appears on the message.

Pick an emoji

Select from the quick-pick bar of most-used reactions, or click ”+” to browse the full emoji grid.

The quick-pick bar shows your most-used reactions so you don’t have to open the full grid every time.
Reactions are visible to the contact on WhatsApp immediately after you pick one.
