Delete a single message

Open the chat
Navigate to the chat with the message.

Open message actions
Hover over the message and open the actions menu.

Click Delete
Confirm the deletion.
Clear a conversation

Open the chat
Navigate to the conversation you want to clear.

Open chat options
Click the options menu at the top of the conversation.

Click Clear conversation
Confirm. All messages in the conversation are removed.
Tips
- Deletion behavior in WhatsApp depends on time elapsed — older messages may still be visible to the recipient.
- Clear conversation removes all messages on the Clapvo side. Act fast if you need to retract something sensitive.
- If the Delete or Clear option is not visible, your role does not have the required permission. Ask an admin to update your role under Account → Roles.
