# Create a contact template

> Save a template that shares a contact card.

A contact template sends a vCard so recipients can save it directly to their phone - perfect for sharing your sales rep, support line, or partner contact.

## Before you start

* The name, phone, and any other details you want to share

## Steps

    Navigate to the templates module.

  <Step title="Click Add">
    Open the template builder.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose Contact">
    Pick the contact type.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Fill the contact card">
    Enter name, phone, email, and any other fields available.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set visibility">
    Choose public or private.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    The template is ready to use.
  </Step>
