# Create a single-message quick reply

> Save a one-shot reply you can trigger inline from chat.

A single-message quick reply is the simplest format - one message you save once and reuse forever.

## Before you start

* Decide whether the reply should be **shared** (org-wide) or **personal** (only you)

## Steps

    Pick **All** for shared or **My** for personal.

  <Step title="Click Add">
    Open the builder.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose Single message">
    Pick the simple type.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter content">
    Type the message you want to save.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    The reply is now triggerable inline from any chat.
  </Step>

## Tips

* Save replies for greetings, common FAQs, escalation messages, and signatures.
* Keep names short and obvious - you will pick from a list mid-conversation.
