# View a contact

> Open the full contact profile.

The contact profile gives you everything you know about a customer in one place.

## Before you start

* The contact exists in your database

## Steps

    Open the profile detail page.

## What you will see

* Basic details (name, phone, email, address fields where present)
* Tags assigned to the contact
