# Download media from a chat

> Save images, videos, PDFs, and documents from chat messages to your device.

Got a photo, video, or file from a customer that you'd like to keep? You can save it to your device in a couple of taps, right from the chat.

## How to download

  <Step title="Open the chat">
    Go to the conversation that has the file you want.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Find the message">
    Scroll to the image, video, PDF, or document in the chat.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tap download">
    Tap the download option on the message. The file saves straight to your device.
