# Preview a campaign before sending

> Use the preview drawer to review a campaign before it goes out.

The preview drawer shows you exactly what recipients will see, in WhatsApp-like formatting, before the campaign actually launches.

## Before you start

* A campaign in the builder, fully composed

## Steps

  <Step title="Open the campaign">
    Continue editing in the campaign builder.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open Preview">
    Click the preview action to open the drawer.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review">
    Step through messages, buttons, lists, media, and any variants.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Adjust if needed">
    Close the drawer, fix anything, and re-open preview.
  </Step>

## Tips

* Always preview campaigns with media. Caption truncation is the most common mistake.
* If you have message variants, the drawer shows each so you can confirm they all read well.
