# Configure message sequencing

> Add delays between messages in a multi-message broadcast.

Sequencing controls the spacing between messages when you send more than one as part of a single campaign.

## Before you start

* More than one message in your campaign

## Steps

    Open or create a campaign.

    Each one becomes a step in the sequence.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the delay">
    Choose how long to wait after each message before the next one is sent.

    The sequence runs automatically when the campaign starts.

## Tips

* Avoid sending two messages back-to-back. A short delay reads more human.
* Use sequencing for follow-ups - a soft introduction, then the offer, then a reminder.
