# Sign in and account security

> Log in to Clapvo, recover a forgotten password, and reset your password.

## Sign in

## Forgot password

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the login page">
    Go to the Clapvo sign-in URL.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter credentials">
    Type your email and password.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in">
    Click **Sign in**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Reset password while signed in

<Steps>
  <Step title="Click forgot password">
    From the login screen, click **Forgot password?**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your email">
    Submit and wait for the reset email.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the link">
    Click the link in the email.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set a new password">
    Type and confirm a new password, then sign in.
  </Step>

## Tips

* Reset emails expire. If yours has aged out, request a new one.
* Use a unique password not reused on other sites.
