# Edit your profile

> Update your name and personal details on your profile.

Your display name and personal details surface anywhere teammates need to know who acted - chats, kanban cards, and audit trails.

## Before you start

* Be signed in to Clapvo

## Steps

    Click your avatar in the top-right and choose **My profile**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the Detail tab">
    Switch to the personal details view.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Update fields">
    Edit your name and other available personal details.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Confirm your changes.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Tips

* Use the name your teammates know you by, not a nickname only customers would recognize.
