# Create an organization

> Spin up a new Clapvo organization for your team.

An organization is the container for your team chats, contacts, templates, and campaigns. You can belong to more than one.

## Before you start

* A signed-in Clapvo account

## Steps

    From the organization list, click **Create organization**. New accounts route here automatically after sign-up.

    Use a name your team and customers will recognize.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Submit">
    Create the organization.

  <Step title="Land in the new organization">
    Clapvo drops you into the workspace, ready to connect WhatsApp.
  </Step>

## Tips

* The name shows up in the organization switcher and on customer-facing surfaces where applicable.
* Right after creation, the next step is usually [Connect WhatsApp](/docs/getting-started/connect-whatsapp).
