# Understand cancellation states

> What cancelled and cancelled-soon mean for your access.

Clapvo distinguishes between two cancellation states. The layout shows a banner so admins always know where they stand.

## Cancelled-soon

* Your subscription will end at the close of the current billing period.
* You retain full access until then.
* You can resume the subscription before the period ends.

## Cancelled

* The subscription has ended.
* Access is restricted, depending on your plan terms.
* To continue using Clapvo, start a new subscription.

## Steps to manage
